This kit contains the components needed for the interface circuitry surrounding a ZX-40n, ZX-40r, ZX-40s, ZX-328n or similar microcontroller in your home automation, industrial control, robotics or other embedded system project. It could also be used with the ZX-44n, ZX-44r or ZX-44s but it is more likely that one would choose surface mount components for such an application.

This kit includes the following parts:

1 - 14.7456MHz crystal

1 - ST232 level converter IC (or equivalent)

6 - 10K resistors

5 - 100nF capacitors

2 - 10nF capacitors

2 - 27pF capacitors

1 - 10uH inductor

1 - 2N3904 NPN transistor

This kit can be used with a solderless breadboard or it can be used with a ZX-40 Interface Board or ZX-28 Interface Board. Note that this kit is for ZX devices that do not require an external EEPROM chip. For those that do, see "ZX Parts Kit A".
